Louis Rylant grew up in Rhode Island and was adopted at age 7. As a child Louis was very active and spent over 10 years playing soccer at a very competitive level and exploring the great outdoors with his family and friends.
After high school Louis attended the University of New Hampshire (Go Wildcats!) and graduated with degrees in business management and horticulture. Shortly after graduation he began work as a sales consultant at Bournival Jeep in Portsmouth, New Hampshire. At Bournival Jeep Louis found his love of automotive retail and he had started on a professional journey that he would still be on today. Over the course of his career in retail automotive Louis rose up the ranks and is currently the general Manager at Jaffarian Volvo Toyota in Haverhill, Massachusetts.
Over the years Louis has owned several restaurants and currently is the owner of the Sea Basket in Wiscasset. The Sea Basket has been named one of the "10 Best Places for Fried Clams in Maine" by NewEngland.com and was awarded "Best of the Best" for Midcoast Maine's Best Seafood Restaurant by Market Surveys of America.
Outside of his professional endeavors Louis spends as much time with his wife, Holly, and two young daughters. The Rylant family enjoy traveling the world and spending time in the great outdoors. A beach day during the perfect New England summers is a favorite of both Louis and his family.
Whether it is volunteering and helping the less fortunate, participating in charity events or helping out his family and friends Louis always finds time to give back.
